Bought this chair last week, now it’s 1000kr off.

Basically I can return mine and get the new one for 1000kr less. Is it possible if I just ask them to send me 1000kr instead?

  1. Depends on the store policy I think. But I know at places like Elkjøp, if something goes on sale within something like 2 weeks after you buy it, you can bring the receipt in and they will give you the difference in original and sale price back. I did that earlier this year when an item I bought went on sale for 1500 nok cheaper a week after I bought it.

  2. jeg bruker en ganske lik stol fra ikea.. den heter ikke gaming, men er veldig komfortabel og mye billigere vil jegtro

  3. That´s not how it works…what?

Also say stores did this, where would you draw the line? How much time would you feel should pass before you wouldn´t raise the question?

  4. I’m quite sure that IKEA won’t give you the price difference, so the alternative would be to return it and then buy the same chair again. But as several people have mentioned, try to get in touch with Customer Service and ask them.
