  1. Honestly I knew it was a brilliant signing for us but I thought this was the worst career move for him because he would be so far down in the pecking order. Could have gone back to Girona and become a starter in the blink of an eye with them losing savinho and dovbyk. However, it’s working out and I am extremely happy for him. He deserves a spot just for even taking the risk you know 100% the kid wants to be here

  2. Good pre-season. Definitely a solid choice for a backup striker and who knows? Maybe he will see a lot of minutes in regular season.

To make a clear statement he needs to have good minutes in La Liga, until then I would keep playing Lewy.

  3. Yes, when lewandoski gets injured he would be a perfect backup. I liked vítor Roque but Pau looks like a better option as an ST.

  4. The question of who deserves to play for the first team should always be determined by form. If you’re playing well, you should play, if someone is playing better than you, they should play, if you’re playing badly, you shouldn’t play. It’s crazy to me that this basic principle of football management isn’t embraced by many coaches. Xavi was particularly bad about this and prioritized seniority over form even when the senior players were playing terribly.

  5. Yeah, he’s the new Messi etc. The game was only a friendly, nobody takes it seriously. Don’t start the hype train
