He’s good but I think it is too risky to start the season with only Bernal and Casado in the pivots.
Sergi Roberto is similar to Casado, at the very least we should try to renew him for 1 season if we are not going to sign anyone. Because if either Casado or Bernal get injured we have nothing else, even then having a more experienced player available there won’t hurt.
It may be the plan already as Roberto has not signed with anyone despite many rumored offers, so clearly he is waiting for Barca. The club would have already communicated to him if they absolutely did not want him here next season, maybe we are waiting for 1:1 to lift our salary cap or still deciding whether to keep him or not.
