Inspired by the last post for HDD prices over 2 decades I made here, many people requested for more years and types of drives so I took some time and tried to make it even more beautiful and valuable.
Edit: Flash became less commonly used after SSDs popularity.
Tools I used: Claude for Data sorting help, and programmed the graph in React and used a log scale to make the data better visually and understandable.
Is HDD expected to continue getting cheaper? How much more can the tech advance?
At first I thought, “wow if anything needed a log scale”, then I saw that it was on a log scale. Crazy.
I would prefer if it was “how many GBs you can buy with X$”
