Honestly thought Rooks may have kicked a bit too early letting someone like El Bakkali recover. However still happy to see he got the silver.
The Ethiopian runner did a a double take as Rooks ran by like “Who the hell is that?”

This is the most incredible distance running performance I’ve ever seen out of Team USA at an Olympics.

Happy for Rooks, really good run, but I hope Girma is ok, was watching and saw him fall and knew right away that it wasn’t good. Can’t really find any information on him, if someone happens to have an update would like to know.
