No, the Ukrainians are not stabilizing anything – they get crushed, and are on the run. The Russians created a diversion near Kharkov, not only to create a buffer zone, but to lure the best Ukrainian troops away from the Donbas fronts. And the Uki's took the bait, as one can always count on them to repeat the same errors over and over again. Not only did they sent the best brigades to Vovchansk, the even detached battalions from other brigades to send them also there. This disorganized and depleted the Donbas units even further. And the Russians make use of this weakness to push further and faster than ever.
I wonder who is still cheering on this senseless war.
