Congrats! He did amazing! I was rooting for him all the time!!!🥰
I saw when this man threw that, he looked slow and lethargic but just slung the that thing with power and authority. Tremendous effort
I hope he gets tremendous love and respect, when he goes back home.
LETS FUCKING GOOOOOOOOOOOOO
The guy is an absolute unit! I love how he doesn’t fall over after the throw too!
The quality of this competition was crazy good
As I said elsewhere: This is Pakistan’s first ever individual gold medal!! They’ve had 3 golds before, last in 1992, but all were in Hockey. They’ve had 10 medals overall in their history before tonight, 8 in Hockey, a Bronze in Wrestling and a Bronze in Boxing
He did it effortlessly
Man got two 90+ throws. Absolutely insane!
I was cheering for India (got a Silver!) but I am happy for the neighbors too!
# This is the first-ever individual gold medal in Olympics for Pakistan
first medal in 32 years (hockey bronze in ’92), last gold was 40 years ago.
Congratulations from India!

I’ve been watching for years from the US and I’m team USA for most everything but this means so much to me, especially thinking about where he came from and what he’s been through to get here 🥹🇵🇰
First ever in Athletics.
We the common Pakistanis are going absolutely insane. This is an unreal moment for all of Pakistan!
Damn they gotta change the Javelin again. Congrats, longest ever with this style Jav probably.
Unbelievable. The first ever medal in 28 years? New info for me, glad to have watched this live, literally revealing more and more info that’s making this win more mind blowing.
Congratulations, this is great.
Good on him! I hope all of Pakistan is behind you, mate!
Congratulations to him. Really excited that Pakistan is finally joined to the medal club, along with getting Gold Medal (and Medal in general) for the first time in this edition. 👏
Edit: First time after 28 years did not get any gold medals in Previous edition? That’s really shocked.
This is what the Olympics is about. The spirit to do better

Hopefully this will inspire other Pakistani people to compete.
I don’t know the guy but the vibes I’m getting from looking at this picture he seems like a very sweet and humble dude and I’m happy for him
