Ukraine in Kursk: Russian reinforcements destroyed in “one of the bloodiest strikes of the war”

A Ukrainian rocket attack left a trail of dead Russian soldiers and burnout military vehicles in “one of the bloodiest strikes of the war”.

Night-time footage emerged early on Friday showing what appeared to be a line of military trucks ablaze on a road in the Kursk region of Russia.

A separate video shared on Russian social media on Friday appeared to show a car driver passing the aftermath of the apparent strike.

The bodies of dead Russian soldiers could be seen in the backs of some of the 14 trucks that were in the convoy.

Other vehicles appeared to be completely burnt out after the strike, which Russian military bloggers said was carried out with US-donated Himars rocket launchers.

The convoy appeared to be transporting reinforcements to tackle Kyiv’s surprise raid on the Kursk region.

The Telegraph geolocated the two video clips to the E38 highway in the Russian town of Oktyabr’skoe, more than 20 miles from the border with Ukraine.

The convoy was likely travelling to reinforce the Russian presence in the settlement of Korenevo about 12 miles away, the closest point Russian sources have reported combat.

  2. Ukraine's army huge losses after the attack. They are bombed to oblivion. Yess Russian deaths but compared to Ukraine russia suffered a handfull while Ukraine soldiers are decemated by the hundreds of the 1000 soldiers.   3. I have NO sympathy for the dead Russian soldiers, but the fact that the Russian army allowed their bodies to remain unguarded and/or not moved is excusable. The fact that a civilian felt it was safe enough to drive by and film the dead shows the Russian army is cowering in fear.

  6. Its so sad imagining they have families at home waiting for them to come back. It's so shameful how these powerful leaders are sitting pretty in their thrones while his people are dying because of pointless reason.

Is unreal Ukraine did 1 good move in 1 year and so much propaganda just for 10km 😂😂😂😂 Russia won ground on every side 10 times in 10 year we will see almost same frontline but Ukraine has lost this war over time not Russia they have 10 times bigger reserve and don’t care how many die. But selenky lied since start is same casualty rate on both side.

  22. Ukraine is not capable of defeating Russia on the battlefield, so they sent 1,000 soldiers across the Russian border to kill civilians. The Ukrainian leadership calls this "instilling fear in Russians. This is blatant terrorism and war crime supported by the U.S. government and its vassals. Despair."
