  1. Great to see a potential counter to these surveillance UAVs that the Russians have been flying deep over Ukrainian territory.

  2. Honestly, I’m very impressed at the altitude these quad drones are operating at in these clips… goddamn

  3. We will look back on what Ukraine has achieved or pioneered in this war so far with the same significance as the birth of radar in WW2.

  4. Just wait a few years and call of duty/medal of honour or what those games are called, are going to have missions that are carbon copies of the videos we have seen here. Especially this video.

  5. This is actually a great scenario for autonomous drones. Dispatch the drone into the UAV’s general vicinity and let it acquire the target by itself. Image recognition would work nicely at that altitude with nothing around.

  6. I’m so curious how they locate the drones with the fpv. I guess they have the general location from a radar but you have to visually see it

  7. And all of this just through crowdfunding, just think about that… When government is inefficient people are building horizontal networks to protect themselves

  8. I saw a post from a Russian who said that the Ukrainians use “Ranger” units. They use masses of FPV drones for direct troop support, overtaking Russian positions and at the same time bringing masses of EW equipment to the first line. Russian reconnaissance drones are hunted down and destroyed. Then drone teams penetrate deep into enemy lines and destroy all troops on the move, isolating all troops in positions behind them.

I don’t want to sound overly optimistic, but if this is implemented on a large scale it could be a real game changer if the Russians don’t adapt quickly enough.

And while all this is happening, the Russian air force is absent and hardly any glide bombs are in use because the Ukrainians are not attacking the heavily fortified hangars but are destroying the ammunition depots in apocalyptic explosions…

  9. This makes me think, if the poor nations can’t afford a carrier, would they be able to afford a small drone swarm carrier? I mean, at least a small boat can carry at least a dozen of these. It probably won’t win them the war, but they’ll have at least a credible defense posture. Carriers are too expensive to make and maintain

  10. I tried to fly acro fpv drone few years ago… I can’t imagine what pilot skill level those dudes are. Insane

  11. Finding another drone at 10k feet up with 1990 level analogue TV quality is the most impressive part of these vids.

  12. Someone will absolutely develop anti-drone drones, I wonder what they’ll use?
    wires? net? explosives? projectiles?

just a simple little thing, of course with the ability to drop grenades so it’s extra problematic
