I’m happy for France since they’re the defending champions since VNL, and i was rooting for them. But i had higher expectations for the match tbh 😭 esp since poland has been so good
The japan-italy match was way more thrilling and was a lot more of a nail-biter that went on for 5 sets
Patri really showed up. The commentators on my broadcast were doubting him at the beginning. What a game from the French team.
I’m sorry to all Polish fans, when I saw Leon coming on to serve at 24-20. I said imagine if he’ll take it to 24-23, but miss the last chance to make it level.
The french blocks were incredible today !
Are the coach getting a medal (hope so) even if they are not of the same nationality?
If Clevenot and Holt aren’t going to be in the dream team, something is seriously wrong with the FIVB
Everybody is rooting for Ngapeth, but what about Trevor Clevenot ? Since the VNL he is a beast !
Clevenot the flying Frenchman!
So strong, congratulations 👏
Beautiful game !!!!!🇨🇵🇨🇵🇨🇵🇨🇵🇨🇵🇨🇵
Well done lads.
Interesting how the podium has the French flag colours when the teams are in their tracksuits
Is it standard that a reserve player will not receive a medal? I felt so bad for the French reserve as he stood there while his teammates received medals and a gift. Props to Clevenot (I think) for running over and letting him wear his medal briefly..
France was a footnote in volleyball just a few years ago and now they’re back-to-back olympic champions! Congratulations, well-deserved.
just finished watching haikyuu why didnt japan win they have miya brothers and hinata kageyama who gonna stop them🤔
Feels a bit bitter as these olympics have been quite disappointing for Poland, nevertheless I’m very happy to see our team breaking the quarterfinal curse and get the our first team competition medal since 1992.
It also needs to be said that our guys struggled with injuries, especially our libero who couldn’t be subbed out and played on strong painkillers. All in all, we are all very proud <3
Best team, I was rooting for them the whole tournament…. Actually from Tokyo!
