For the princely sum of £1 you too could own air from ye olden times! What’s the weirdest thing you’ve found at a charity shop?

  1. A “muscle massager” that was clearly someone’s used vibrator. Didn’t even look clean, to be honest.

  2. One of my local independent charity shops is full of commodes.

They have dozens of them. It’s weird.

  3. If it remains airtight, that’ll be valuable for scientific research for your 6x-great-grandchildren. Don’t you want to invest for your family’s future generations?

  4. Canned air? I know some dude from the 90s set up a small canned air business as a joke, but it turned into a small meme driven short lived money ball.

On a slightly different note, I can remember Blue Peter, doing a piece about a man who got an old 1940s car and one of the big universities, wanted to collect the air from the still inflated tyres and study the composition of the air inside.

  5. I saw a pair of items advertised as “Chinese spiritual balls” once. They were ben wa balls.
