*Except in Cumbria where the rain is currently biblical.
I wish it would be in Scotland today but I am currently under thunder and lightning that doesn’t want to seem to move on. It’s a pity it didn’t happen at night ‘cos I love watching lightning at night-time.
Peaking at 23 here so five degrees cooler than yesterday. Still too hot for our furry Labrador so walking him now. I’m sure he’ll go and lie down in the sun later, because he’s an idiot.
Max of 31c here with a “feels like temperature” of 37c. Never understood why they do “feels like”
I am hoping and praying that the air conditioning is working in the office I’m visiting today. I really don’t want to be dragging my fat pregnant self into 33 degree heat 🥲
Paula!
Perfect time to hunker down in the room with the air conditioner and carry on writing more of my cordial recipe book then.
Feels like it’s already 200% humidity here, today is not going to be fun.
Showers in West Yorkshire.
I wonder if we will be allowed the aircon on at work today, or will people want the windows open because “it’s too cold” and “we need some air in here”.
Just got back from a walk, about as sweaty as I expected to be, what I wasn’t expecting was being covered in nettle stings because I fell into a bed of them whilst trying to avoid some twat doing 60 on a narrow country lane, at least the stinging is making me less aware of the sweat
Welcome to the Thunderdome!
Come to Shropshire for grey skies, 20 degrees and rain!
I have made it clear that anyone at work who attempts to turn off the air conditioning will have an “accident” with a stapler.
Off to a local-ish leisure centre today for my daughter’s birthday, also my missus is doing a pregnancy test this morning which I didn’t think she’d need to do after I had the snip six years ago but here we are.
Anyone else still getting their arse kicked by hayfever?
I feel like I’ve had a blocked nose for _months_ now
Thor seems to be getting some target practice in on the Lake District.
Mild illness resulted in naps which meant I got very broken sleep last night which means I’m knackered today. Going to have to be disciplined to not make poor diet decisions.
