I have a hard time believing this is being run by the internet. At least half of it should be gone due to GME calls and the other half invested in HOBLF.
Is it actually “run by the internet” if there’s only 20ish people voting on it?
Do you get emails from this stock trading bot saying “It’s alright, babe, we’ll turn this around…we’ll turn this around…”?
Efficient market hypothesis not only implies that you can’t reliably make money without some non public information, it also implies that you can’t reliably lose money without some non public information.
This would really benefit from some – *any* – context or explanation.
Like, what does “run by the Internet” mean?)
Or, what was the S&P500 or some other index doing at the same time? (I think the S&P is off by about 5% over this period, which suggests that this was a relatively atypical or unlucky period.)
Common benchmarks over this same timeframe:
S&P 500: -3.4% NASDAQ: -6.0% MSCI ACWI (All Country World Index): -3.0%
Who pray tell is the “Internet”?
Love the axis making it look like the value was wiped out 🙄
So as long as it’s a graph it gets posted to this sub?
It looks like the internet is almost as smart an investor as I am.
Bad y-axis. Too many gridlines. No context.
The last 11 days have been pretty bad for the market all together, this is probably what everyone’s portfolio looks like right now.
10% down in under a month? Sounds like WSB to me
Why can’t we start all graphs at 0 please? A cursory glance looks like it tanked like 80%, but then you realize it was only 10%
Neat concept. ~~You gotta show me how much cash is available to spend.~~ you do show this but make it stand out more outside of the table. The amount each position is worth should be shown in the table so I know how much can be sold as you can’t sell by shares only dollar amount. Add selling by share amount
I don’t really agree with the people wanting the graph to start at zero. Is the plan to leave 90% of the graph blank? To use a higher scale so it’s hard to tell the actual delta? To suggest that the graph is heading towards 0?
Haven’t used any broker that would represent any account value graphs that suggest the possibility of losing your entire account before it happens.

Cool. Let’s see the chart for the first 11 days of YOUR portfolio…
Would be helpful to plot against SP500 or DJIA performance. Impossible to tell how it’s actually doing without a reference point.
