  1. Thank you so much.

I tried to find this in YouTube. And after 20 videos with titles stating to show the full performance and thumbnails indicating they will show the full performance but the actual video showing some asshole shoving his face in the camera and just talking about the full performance I quit my attempts.

I hate YouTubers now by the way.

  2. It just felt below par for Australia based on my expectations, but I also didn’t expect Australia to get far in breaking.

    America’s 4×100 on the other hand…

  3. Ugh, that’s rough. It’s like I’m watching someone from university in liberal arts performing an interpretive dance in honor of the species known as “breakers.”

  4. I hate that she basically made a mockery of the breaking event. People will only remember her …

  5. Pleaaaas I beg you, stop posting things about this woman. I come to hate breakdancing for all the post about her.

  6. Give me one week and I’ll reach Olympic level breakdancing skills. Probably not Ami or Nicka level but Raygun should be easy.

  7. I managed to catch this live and I was like wtaf and switched it off. I thought the whole competition was this calibre.

  8. Please stop. I am not certain but I think us Aussie’s are getting pretty sick of hearing about her.

  9. I finally found a few faces in the audience like wtf is she doing. Was surprised I couldn’t on the other clips.

  10. She robbed people of Australia who are geniunely good at b’dancing a chance at the olympic.

  11. I wish I had paid more attention at the time. I had *just* turned breaking on when she was up, so her set was the first thing I saw. I was obviously not impressed, but I didn’t have anything to compare it to to know what it was supposed to be, so I kind of stopped watching and rolled my eyes at the sport. A bit later, I paid attention again and was suitably impressed. I even said, “wow that raygun wasn’t very good, then.”

But I hadn’t paid enough attention to know how very not good she was.

  12. Looks like if ace Ventura was auditioning for a casting call on the down payment couch

  13. How is this an Olympic sport and baseball isn’t. Thank you LA28 for bringing baseball back.

  14. I still don’t get whether this was a joke or some kind of satire. Anyone with eyes can see how bad it is. I feel like I’m missing something that can make sense of how a woman who looks like somebody’s Mom in a Subway uniform doing a laughably bad routine which received a score of 0 was actually a legitimate thing.

  15. Thank you- and, wow, that is worse than I had envisioned. I’m an out of shape, uncoordinated 52 year old and I could probably do most of that.

  16. To play devils advocate – how is this different than the figure skating portion that only has artistic movements in it, no axels or other difficult moves? Obviously she went for 100% performance, 0% gymnastics.
So is breaking a sport or an art?

  17. Honestly this could be a good olympic sport its got plenty of athleticism involved but this was different

  18. That… thing at 1:09 is what killed me. I can’t understand how the spectators sitting in front could resist bursting out laughing. Inhuman self-control

  19. I know she’s been getting all the attention but just ask everyone to check out the other dancers too as they were great and brought the hip hop/breakdance culture to the Olympics! BBoy Victor from Florida with the Bronze, the Japanese dancers that brought it. Most likely will never be in the Olympics again but at least we had this opportunity to show the world.

  20. all of this years Golden medal winners will fade into obscurity, but RG is a Legend and she will never be forgotten
