The Landesfeuerwehrverband Bayern e.V. has put together a major donation of 8 fire fighting vehicles, 15 tonnes of equipment, 6 mobile water cannons and more which started its journey to #Ukraine yesterday. The transport was financially supported by the Free State of Bavaria.

  3. The device on the 2nd picture seems to be a “Tragkraftspritze”, a waterpump coupled to the engine of a VW Beetle. A bit outdated, but still very useful if you have weak water infrastructure, volunteer firefighters in rural areas of Germany still use it…

  4. Shoutout to our colleagues in Ukraine, may this material help you to protect as much of your people as possible.
Now i may be biased but our firebrigade gear is really great. 98% of our firefighters (including myself) are volunteers so we need 1) top class training and 2) top class material. And the latter one means that material gets retired frequently. Making sure that it gets a meaningful second life in a country that is so persuasive against an imperialistic invader is great news.

  5. Thank you!

Don’t want to sound picky but could you, please, send some firefighting machines with >500km of range? Without a doubt those machines can prevent a lot of fires on Ukrainian soil.

  6. Awesome. Makes me proud to be German ! My Taxes at good work. We also need to ship Taurus and Tomahawks finally. Now is the best Time to ship the Taurus! Give them everything they need.
