Ukrainian army’s rapid advance on Russian territory alarmed Kremlin: Moscow made a new decision

Ukrainian defenders are no longer advancing as quickly through the Kursk region as they did in the first days of the border breakthrough: Putin’s army is trying to stabilize the front line in this area. Analysts from the Institute for the Study of War analyzed the situation in Kursk and how it will affect the further course of the war.
New satellite images from Maxar have shown that the Russians have begun actively digging trenches and building a new line of defense in the Lgov area along the Lgov-Rylsk-Glukhov highway. Another satellite image showed new field fortifications of the Russian Armed Forces in the south of Lgov near highway 38K-024.

The new defensive line appeared 17 km from the northernmost point of the Ukrainian Armed Forces presence in Kursk region. This fact indicates that Putin is afraid of the rapid advance of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which is supported by armored vehicles. The Kremlin also wants to secure its land-based communication lines, which could come under the fire control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. In this area, the Russian Federation has always used the railway to transport its troops and ammunition to the Kharkiv region. Russian Railways notified Belarus that all rail traffic on the Oryol-Kursk line will cease as of August 12.

With the march on Kursk region, Kyiv showed the West that it doesn’t care about restrictions on the use of long-range weapons. Also, with this operation, Ukraine showed that they do not plan to sign peace with Putin in exchange for the occupied territories, as Trump would like. Kyiv is tired of constantly hearing “no” from the West to requests to use long-range weapons against military facilities on Russian territory. The Ukrainian Armed Forces have broken through the border with the Russian Federation using American and German armored vehicles. However, ATACMS missiles have not yet been seen in this military operation. Kiev made it clear that they are ready to continue to defend themselves even if Trump comes to power in the United States in November 2024. Boyce is sure that with the military operation in Kurishchen, Kiev showed the world that the Ukrainian army is mobile and fast.

  7. Make no mistake, the worse night mare for Putin would be Trump in the office, not vise versa..
    The reason: Demo and Rep in the US tent to opposite each other in every policies, dometic or foreign…So if Rep saw J.Biden support Ukraine, they will say against it…But thing will not the same when Rep re take the power. Trump is much more comnon sense than J.Biden. If Trump is going to support Ukraine, it would be a real deal with NO LIMIT in the number as well as the using of those supplied weapons.
    Rep was proven to be tough on Commuist and Dictators, not Demo…actually the fall of Saigon Vietnam, Kabul Afghanistan ect…all thanks to Democrats..and if Zelenski listened to J.Biden to run away at the fist sight of Russian attack, there would be no Ukraine as well.
    CNN was suited for 1 billion $$$ for defaming an US soldier who took part in the evacuation of the Afgans as a result of the J.Biden disastrous withdrawal. People asked why CNN did not make such an investigation on J.Biden in the first place.

    What’s the fuss all about⁉️

    Back during February 2022 you Me. Vladimir Putin said that Russia was acting in self-defense, that its goal was the "demilitarization and denazification" of Ukraine, and claimed that Russia had no plans to occupy Ukrainian land.

    You threatened severe consequences for any country that intervened. The invasion began immediately after you made announcement.

    It looks to me that now it appears that the Ukrainian armed forces are having their own Special Milutairy Operation.

    It seems to me that the Ukraine, as a foreign country is only trying to defend itself.

    So again Me. Putin, tell me what’s the fuss about⁉️

  16. Ukraine is wise enough not to over extend the front beyond their logistics support. I believe the incursion met less
    Resistance than anticipated as well, requiring some consolidation/evaluation of forces every few days.

Nato is on the front line there is no such ukranian armed forces..make the real facts!! there would be possible consequences regarding that, red line already passed, russia keep big territory inside Ukraine you guys talk about kurks will make russia fail, are you a joke? Ypıu guys watch only same media outlets, russia use air superiority without air support Ukraine or nato troops cannot do much, russia blocks and bombing supply lines and break the logisctics of Ukrainian troops, probably they will use hit and run tactics or make a crescent move like old Turkic warfare tactics to take them into a circle, and destroy them.
