  1. I have commemorative coins (not legal tender though) from the 2002 olympic men’s hockey tournament somewhere. They had faces of some of the players on them.

  2. I have some unopened Coca-Cola bottles from the 1996 Olympics. Even though I wasn’t born yet, my parents let me keep them as a souvenir.

  3. I have some pins from the 1996 summer games, 1996 Olympic village, and 2002 winter games that I bought from a second hand shop.

  4. I have a commemorative Loonie from when Vancouver hosted the Winter Games in 2010. Got it by chance as change when I bought something while visiting Canada some time in 2010 after the Olympics and decided to hold on to it.

  5. Memories of the 1972 terrorist attack in Munich that killed 11 athletes and a policeman.

  6. I still have the official book of the 1956 Melbourne Olympics in its cardboard wrapper.

  7. There’s a shelf in my bedroom which still has figures of the mascots from the London 2012 Olympics. What a time to be alive (and British) that was

  8. Pins from the 1992 games & forward, and extra swag from the Olympics in Atlanta. I do have an Atlanta Olympic Security commemorative pin, which is kind of ironic. LOL

  9. My dad still has a knit winter hat from Lake Placid. I used to wear it when I was sledding as a kid. He was at the gold medal hockey game too which is totally wild to me!

  10. I have the USA beret they wore for the Toronto (2006) games. I bring it out every Winter Olympics, wearing it for 2 weeks then back into the closet (granted I didn’t get it FROM the games). I also just recently picked up the plushie from the Beijing games (like the athletes got)

  11. So the torch came down the road my neighborhood had its entrance at for the 96 Olympics. We lived in Roswell/Alpharetta at the time. There was this like 20 foot long Olympic banner hung up near us celebrating the Olympics. As soon as the torch passed, I ran over, took the banner down and ran to my house lol. I was like 14 at the time. It’s been folded in a tub ever since. Still have it in a storage unit.

  12. I have my uniform from the 96 Olympics and in a shadow box I have all of my pins along with a Gold Medal Ribbon and a 7th place ribbon because it was the color of the Atlanta games ( purple and green). I worked Equestrian in competition management so we gave out ribbons as well as medals.

  13. I’ve got a framed poster from the 1924 Paris Olympics. This year was probably its peak.

  14. Lots of stuff from both Beijing’s (including chopsticks, pencils, and mascot toys), t shirt from Tokyo 2020, mascot toys from London, and now t shirts, bags and pens from Paris.

  15. I was gifted some pins to commemorate the Pyeongchang 2018 winter games back when those were happening. Never been to one in person though

  16. I have a Vancouver 2010 shirt; it’s too small to fit me (I was a size M in high school, now I’m 29 and wear size XL) but I love the design so I keep it safe in my dresser drawer. We also have one or two plushes of the mascots, I think.

  17. My dad covered Beijing 2008 as a journalist, he brought stuff home for me. I have a doll of one of the mascots somewhere
