  1. So this is supposed to be about the issues of overfishing but the idea that wild caught fish are emitting more that farm raised isn’t really true. The idea that just by existing these fish are producing more is a weird one. There’s likely a lot of assumptions about things such as the weight of farmed seafood being higher due to the abundance of food. I don’t know, this kind of graph just doesn’t really seem like a fair comparison but its intentions are good.

    Somethings to note are there isn’t really a good comparison between wild and farmed fish as they aren’t directly comparing the same species. The benefits for larger fish is also comparatively small for farmed fish such as salmon. But for smaller things such as bivalves its much larger. Honestly I feel like this would be better if it was redone with more information and showing size and scale of operations as in some cases it can actually be worse to farm them. In which, we should be calling for the reduction of fishing certain fish. It seems like something within this organizations ability to do and something they often talk about. But the grapher they use doesn’t really seem to allow them to do much.
