  1. This is a massive case of two tiered justice against their own citizens while ignoring the actions of recent ‘migrants’. That facts around what started the “riot” have been ignored and the govt is solely focused on the people that protested.

  2. As a non-native English speaker I was wondering what the difference between a protest and a riot is. The crime of rioting is:

    > *Where 12 or more persons who are present together use or threaten unlawful violence for a common purpose and the conduct of them (taken together) is such as would cause a person of reasonable firmness present at the scene to fear for his personal safety, each of the persons using unlawful violence for the common purpose is guilty of riot.*
