  1. I think what really changes with this new stage of the war is that Russia has to adapt to ongoing incursions. This isn’t something that’s going to end. The genie is out of the bottle. A couple hundred troops armed with drones can do a shit load of damage within Russia. And there’s not much which can be done to end

    My theory that amongst the many reasons for the incursion, one is simply ensure that the war is not frozen. Putin already has refused negotistions for years, because he annexed more than occupied. But he figured he could freeze these borders. Now he holds less than he claims. And Ukraine are gaining in Russia. With the Russian economy overheating (interest rates set to18% wtf lol) it’s only a matter of time before it pops. Probably five to ten years off. But this could be the approach going forward. Really bleed the economy, until the whole house if cards comes falling down. And this time the west won’t help Russia get back on their feet.
