Prince Harry on Tabloid Battle: Princess Diana ‘Wasn’t Paranoid’ About Hacking

High profile celebrities including Hugh Grant, Charlotte Church and Prince Harry have opened up to ITV News about their experiences with the tabloid press.

In a new ITV documentary, Tabloids on Trial, Prince Harry described the impact stories printed in the media had on his and his late mother Princess Diana’s life.

When asked if phone-hacking resulted in paranoia, he said: “It could be paranoia but then when you’re vindicated it proves that you’re not being paranoid.”

While it hasn’t been proven in court that Diana was also a victim of hacking, the Duke related his experiences to his late mother’s and said “she wasn’t paranoid”.

The documentary will be broadcast on July 25th at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.

Harry and his wife thought that all the adulation and adoration would continue seamlessly into the USA; Hollywood would be calling and they’d be feted, red carpets rolled out and he would attain fame, fortune, celebrity but no one gets money for free even if you are a prince … through their despicable lies, gaslighting, attempts to upstage and overshadow the BRF at every single turn is just disgraceful AND have lost any respect and goodwill of the American people.   20. We all know his mother was recorded (Squigygate) so was his father, but, that doesn't mean she wasn't paranoid, are we supposed to draw the inference that 'she wasn't so neither am I? It doesn't work that way, we can see you and both you MM are paranoid IMO (and by the way being a nasty liar and trashing other people doesn't improve your image with me H). Trying to rewrite history again, give us a break.

The UK press and tabloids have been horrid towards the people in high profile positions have been dogged and treated horribly and they print their truth not the actual truth and they don't care about any of these people only the all mighty dollar they can make on their lies and they don't care about the damage or safety of any of these people!

If a ghost writer wrote his book then Harry can't be sure what the ghost writer might Abricate as they often do to sell more books and the ghost writer and publisher is likely to take a share of the profits and will advise Harry to delete his notes so Harry can't prove exactly what he wrote they are skilled but alas not legally trained if they have written something that has put Harry in a difficult legal position.
