  1. They’ll know better than most, don’t be anywhere near an exploding oil tank.

It’s good to see them gradually popping off one after the other.

  2. Hmyeah, I’m thinking they’re just gonna have to let this one burn out… Or wait! Maybe they can just NUKE it?!?! Thoughts?

  3. From what I can understand one of them was in a hurry быстро = fast газа = gas and ходим = lets go

  4. ya ya, difficult to decide which head of the two headed chicken needs to be fire extinguished first. That one or that one.. anyway!

  5. Kinda incredible they build facilities as these without enough firefighting capability. Both setting up/expanding the fire department and infrastructure on site like water cannons, etc.

Seem like our firefighting capability at a paper mill I worked at was better than they have for a facility that only handle **HIGHLY FLAMABLE LIQUIDS IN LARGE QUANTITIES**.

  6. My knowledge of firefighting is limited to what I can remember from my damage control training in the USN a very long time ago, so I don’t consider myself knowledgeable in any sense. However, what I don’t understand from these videos of the tank farm fire in Rostov is that I’ve seen no signs that they’re spraying water on the still intact tanks to keep them as cool as possible. That’s such an obvious thing to do if they want to limit the spread, and it wouldn’t take any special equipment to do so.

  7. Yeah, gonna say that’s the right call. Massive fire being fed by thousands of gallons of petroleum products, in a field of tanks and pipes built to Russian and Soviet standards? Yeah, no, burn.

  8. But but but they sent there 2 (two) fire trains, why is it still burning? /s

  9. Happy about the facility burning down, a bit sad for the firefighters. They just help civilians normally and they’re all caught up in a war of putins making

  10. Every single one of these videos about the fire is filmed from a phone, and there is ALWAYS another rescue worker filming it as well. Apparently TikTok warriors aren’t just an army thing.

  11. I read somewhere that the forest service was studying the use of liquid nitrogen bombs dropped over forest fires to quickly destroy fires by rapidly dropping the temperature and removing oxygen levels from the atmosphere. Only problem is that it also removes oxygen from every living thing in the forest, so there’s that.
