  1. So should we just rename the sub “CCP Social Credit Score Improver Hub” and get it over with?

  2. The headline should really read:
President Xi round up and made Olympians clap for him as a sign of servitude.

The future lives of some athletes will be successful… alot of them though will fall through the cracks of a (by name only) “socialist” … country.

  3. Americans when they see anything related to china:

    *Visibly freaking out and angry*

Let their gouverment celebrate them they deserved this, I dont care what your political opinion is of china, no showing this here is not promoting it nor endorsing it, I know you hate to see what other countries other than the US are doing but bear with us.

Its just a celebration event chill out

  4. That title though. It’s not Xi Jinping greeting the athletes returning home, it’s the athletes returning home greeiting him.

  5. You can clearly tell from the comment section that many Americans grow up with the idea of “American exceptionalism,” the belief that the U.S. is unique in its values, democracy, and role in the world. This belief has made you all have a sense of superiority, where the American way of life is seen as the benchmark for others.

  6. Amazing how they tied 1st in gold despite having sent 200 less Olympians than the US.

  7. how long do claps last for.

I always had social anxiety about starting a round of applause.

  8. No one seems having a good time , kinda nervous like there is a lion is in the room .
