The recent Paris Olympic Games has made me reflect that if the Egg and Spoon Race was admitted, Great Britain would dominate!!!! Replace “Breaking” with the Egg and Spoon Race!!!

  1. 4x 100m egg relay race. the egg must be transferred instead of a baton. egg drops are disqualification.

i’ve also thought the high jump would be more relatable if it wasn’t over a bar but an ever increasing in height shelf, with an ever increasingly hard item to grab.

  2. >A number of world records in egg-and-spoon racing are held by New Yorker and serial record-holder [Ashrita Furman](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ashrita_Furman); these include, as published by Guiness World Records, fastest 100 metre egg-and-spoon race (now 16.59 seconds by Australian [Sally Pearson](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sally_Pearson), set in 2013 in Sydney);[^([18])](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Egg-and-spoon_race#cite_note-18) fastest 100 metre egg-and-spoon race while holding the spoon in the mouth (25.13 seconds);[^([13])](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Egg-and-spoon_race#cite_note-Mouths-13) fastest mile egg-and-spoon race (7 minutes, 8 seconds);[^([19])](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Egg-and-spoon_race#cite_note-19) fastest mile egg-and-spoon race holding the spoon with both hands (8 minutes, 5 seconds);[^([12])](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Egg-and-spoon_race#cite_note-Hands-12) and fastest mile egg-and-spoon race holding the spoon in the mouth (9 minutes, 29 seconds).

Be very careful, if you want to win this!

  3. Maybe I could finally the egg and spoon race of 1987 behind me.

6/7 years old. Egg and spoon race in the sports day and I’m miles ahead until I see my mam stood next to the finish line and I stop a go “look mam I’m winning!” as everyone passes me by…
