Time for the Belarusians to do something very funny and overthrow the government.
From the landscape and geography a great spot. but belarus is there. So i didnt expect it. just hoped for it.
Ukraine really going:
I am everywhere, I am inevitable
Slava Ukraini
There can’t be only one People’s Republic: at least three, for three is a charm! You hear that, Belarus?
It would be pretty funny if Belarus no longer had a border with Russia.
I’ve just read it on a german newspage citing russian milbloggers – let’s see and wait. A second breakthrough into Russia can’t be played down, so this might be big.
All I have seen the Belurussian army do is street performances… like breaking bricks with their heads, etc.
I think Ukraine could easily make it to Moscow… Look how far Wagner got last year.
Ukraine opening multiple fronts in Russia will drive Putin madder. This was not on his bingo card.
I’m as hard as a diamond in an ice-storm right now..
Lukashenka better be chill
The germans took 600000 POWs in the Briansk area in 1941.
no sleeep till moscow
For anyone wondering, Gomel is Belarus so this is not Kursk > Bryansk, it’s a north-west UA > Bryansk
Well, if Ukraine really wants to create a buffer zone, I expect it to do so entirely along the entire border with Russia. This is the logical next step. Going deeper into Kursk without expanding the front line would make no sense strategically.
Go go goooooo
“We’re gonna fuck up all your oblasts. Every last one.” 🇺🇦
This is all great news but the Russians progress in Donetsk is worrying. Pokrovsk is coming within reach.
Ukraine should have built strong defence lines in the East long ago. The Russians managed it with the Surovikin line and it blunted the Summer counter offensive last year.
Take it all Ukraine. All yours.
Already been repelled according to liveuamap?
One can only hope this triggers the chain of events that gets Lukahsanko hanging from a gas station upside down.
Gods I hope this is true, though these might be smaller forces than in Kursk and have waited for the right time to strike.
I’m going to hammer X to doubt. The entire border in that area is basically a river, there’s no way that Ukraine would push forces via a possibly contested wet gap crossing there, with basically serious marshes and practically 0 infrastructure along that river.
There exist only 1 possibly viable area of attack in that entire region, and it’s the very north.
It has been two hours and no reports/info from anywhere else, this might’ve just been a probe attack of sorts that some russians on telegram panicked too hard about. But maybe tomorrow will bring some more light onto this, it is midnight now. Can only hope this is another maneuver to grab a fair bit of land to hurt Putin more.
With some hours into Hoi4 (lol), it itching me how much of soldiers they can save by uniting some lines, thus saving places
Example: the bulge is 100km and if they take care of the bulge they could save up 50km and only need to guard 50km instead of 100km since its not streched anymore
I am a bit skeptical of this but I guess we shall see.
