That’s just…I don’t even have words. Why would you even do these events? Are they some sort of loyalty test?
It’s terrible optics for a campaign to hold these kinds of things even once…but over and over? I don’t get it…I like it…but I don’t get it.

The others must’ve heard about the fun party in Chicago, which is only about an hour away..
To his credit, he’s the only one on either ticket that can say he shook hands with every supporter that came to see them and knows them by name.
I can say with absolute certainty that my grandma’s summer yard sale had more attendees and enthusiasm, but everyone still needs to get out and vote. The wider the vote margin, the harder it will be for Republicans to inevitably fight the results with their “stolen election” bullshit.

Someone like James Adomian should shadow him as him, drawing a bigger crowd.
At this point, I wouldn’t take the podium. I’d just pall around with the 12 people. Offer to talk to them and have a conversation. Ask about their lives, what’s important to them, what brought them out. Offer to buy em lunch or a water. I feel like that’s way more normal than talking at them for an hour and leaving.
Perhaps JD also has a humiliation kink in addition to couch copulating.

The longer this goes on, the more I’m believing that they’re not running a real campaign. These events are there to give the appearance that they’re running. The votes for the election they’re trying to win will be generated behind closed doors.

I beginning to think the Republican ticket isn’t very popular these days.
