2. Lunacy objective. That's really interesting. The Economist: "Russia’s double-punch back against Ukraine’s shock raid. It is bombing Ukrainians in Kursk and advancing in Pokrovsk." What could possibly go wrong? It's obvious that capturing at such a staggering cost a string of villages in the middle of nowhere that can't be held makes zero military sense. Doing that when a vital logistic hub of your army like Pokrovsk is about to fall is making Zelenskyy the top candidate for Darwin Award in this century. Zelenskyy Kursk misadventure already failed spectacularly, but due to his obsession with media hype he is simply incapable even to cut snowballing losses and as always he is just reinforcing the failure. It's the same nutty pattern as was with Bakhmut, Krinky or a publicly announced failed Zelenskyy offensive in 2023 . Zelenskyy is the gift that keeps on giving to the Russians advised by even nuttier DC gifts.
