Full footage of the Russian friendly fire incident in Russkaya Konopelka village, Kursk Oblast, where a Russian BMP-3 fires at Ukrainian vehicles until a Russian BMP-2 is misidentified and destroyed by the BMP-3. The Russians tried to pass this off as a Ukrainian loss, but the marking is a clear V.

Were the troops on foot in the second half of the video Ukrainian or Russian? It’s a little hard to tell for me.
Not only did they destroy it, they sat and hammered on it at near point blank range for a while.
Hopefully some of the guys from the humvees were able to get out of there.

Sad about the Ukrainian losses, but at least the Russians ended up destroying one of their own assault vehicles in the process and most likely killing the crew. Wasted their ammo too. Allowed some Ukrainian warriors to get out of there.

Just seems they were pushing the town with MRAPs and the vehicles got destroyed by drones, and they got ambushed when trying to evacuate.
So many cuts its hard to follow, how does the mrap @ 1.54 end up getting past and behind the bmp-3 without any engagement.

Man I cant watch these from the katsap side, I get too worked up.
Looks like a Ukranian recon force in wheeled vehicles (triangle mark, blue taped helmets), ran into a small Russian force using BMPs (V marked). Someone seems to have called in a bunch of supporting fire from all the fire/wreckage everywhere. A few infantry seemed dead/wounded and a few wheeled vehicles seemed disabled but that could all be accounted for by a brief engagement between BMPs and the trucks. An lot of alive infantry, probably dismounts from the destroyed vehicles.
The BMP fight looks like a ukranian marked wheeled vehicle encountered the BMP suddenly and was trying to get away. Just as the BMP was about to kill it (you can see rounds impacting around it), another BMP melted the first BMP. I’m assuming friendly fire since the Russians are now claiming the first BMP was Ukranian.
Breaks my heart to see dead Ukrainians… I pray Putin goes out like Gaddafi with terror in his heart and a bayonet in his ass. He deserves nothing less for all that he’s done.
Notice at 2:50- The BMP that gets hit is firing at their 2 o’clock with a single shot toward the BMP3 *but holds fire*.
The turret is aimed to the side, so no- It’s not a barrel blocking a triangle logo to make it look like a V. It’s a V on the hood. They held fire because they noticed *it’s their own vehicle*- yet the BMP3 let her rip.
This is horrible. Enough Ukrainians have died. Too many. Horrendous footage.
