The 1984 games were the first Olympics I remember watching as a kid. Mary Lou Retton’s consecutive perfect scores!
But who topped the meme podium?
Was it because Russia was not present?
A fantastic accomplishment. Of course, both games didn’t include the USSR/Russia.

When the hell is India going to start succeeding at the Olympics? 6 medals for 1.4 billion people and the 5th largest economy is pathetic.
Let’s start all over again:
How would that look like per capita?
Anything less than 50 each for LA 2028 will make that games a disappointment.
Definitely a down year for USA swimming. Fewest golds since 1988 and fewest medals since 1996. Fortunately USA track had one of the greatest games ever, with the most golds by any country since 1968 and most medals by any country since 1932 (boycott years not included).
They not like us 🇺🇸
