Surely this is not okay? It is not even an Asian food stall. Me and my friends could not believe this was acceptable.

  1. Imagine getting offended by a food sign.

You are aware there are children being blown up across the world, people dying in unimaginable misery? Any number of atrocities, and you choose to get offended on behalf of other people about a lame, inoffensive sign.

Have any East Asian people even expressed concern about it to you?

  2. Oh boy don’t Google little Britain or goodness gracious me.

Have they not just misspelled ‘Hero’?

Because nothing about that is central Asian at all.

  3. It doesn’t even make sense, its not like there even any east Asian ingredients in there. It’s just racism for the sake of it.

  4. Omg. Lord of the wings this weekend?! Didn’t even clock this on the event page.

  5. I can only imagine some ruddy-faced slaphead getting absolutely indignant to anyone taking umbrage to his pathetic attempt at humour, and responding with the ol’ hackneyed *”IT’S PC GONE MAD”*

  6. Genuine question why are some accents considered racist but others aren’t

For example it’s pretty ‘acceptable’ to do Australian, ‘British’, Welsh, Irish, German, Italian, Spanish, South African, American, Hawaiian Native, New Zealand (both settlers and native), just about any eastern European accent and most Carribbean nation accents without any cause for alarm

But Indian, Pakistani, Chinese, Japanese and Mexican accents are considered horrifically racist to immitate

  7. Looking at the picture I think it may be a type.

    Wing wing hero.

Just an unfortunate choice of words, if it was a Chinese style wing it would be a different story.

  8. Amazing. There were some South Korean people opened a Sushi place in a small town in Canada where I moved to. Town is called Kimberly, Sushi place name Kim-Barry. I laughed so hard when I was told the name of the place.

  9. I bought a copy of the board game [‘Mysteries of Old Peking’](https://www.amazon.co.uk/Mysteries-Of-Old-Peking/dp/B002WHZAZ4/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?crid=174ZC50Y04GTH&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.SRWNNe-ZXMkRuvMsSSr8DYhcppEWZ9-yyTTLI7iwv2_3WWYEnORcD8CgD1sJR6IeED5SEusb33abP-pgQ6haIY5Aepc4DS2961C_5I3T4ssjXuI7BvGidChEJN2Cm1rKlagKst2gZBr3gereOEQG4Q.8d2ctZX2gHBCxn2rDlmZH5tvfMubZeL9gyLAWggymoc&dib_tag=se&keywords=mysteries+of+Peking+game&qid=1724566564&sprefix=mysteries+of+peking+game+%2Caps%2C162&sr=8-2) in a charity shop having never heard of it. (Got it for a couple of quid, not Amazon’s £90). The entire game displays exactly the same humour as portrayed in OP’s pic.

Edit: the one review shown if you click the link above is titled *”Is rascist or just fun?”*

  10. I’ll take the downvotes but imo mocking accents isn’t racism.

If you can mock my rural Yorkshire accent, I can mock yours. Fair is fair.
