Hurray, more considerations!
Do it!!
Be nice if we let Ukraine use them.
Credit for doing it, none for considering it.
Stop considering shit and just do it!
What is the point if they cannot hit Russia with them.
There is a fairly simple reason that the Ukrainians weren’t sent F-16s sooner. They need Ukrainian pilots to be trained in America. And either Ukrainian engineers need training, or American engineers need teaching to speak Ukrainian. It could take a year, two years.
What’s the point of carting F-16s to Ukraine and having them sit stale in a warehouse for a year while pilots are rushed through training? Especially not at the start of the war, when people were still worried Russia might win. Putin will just put out bounties to persuade traitors, or send in spies. Plus they need to be sent over safely.
These past two years, even as the pilots have been trained, we have hoped that Putin will see sanity (or maybe he’ll die) and no F-16s will be needed. He hasn’t. And he won’t.
Of course I want Ukraine to have F-16s. I just don’t want them to lose them all in the first week they’re there.
There is not a single part of that article that actually says the white house is considering this other than the title itself. Its speculative bullshit.
With the obvious “restrictions”, no doubt.
I think it may be time for a field test of Rapid Dragon.
Has Jake Sullivan found his balls?
Which then are not allowed to hit bases deep in Russia.
Long range considerations…so scary
They sure do like to consider all the time
And Ukraine can only use them in it’s own territory… only at night and not on weekdays .
And now they’re publicly discussing it weeks and months before a decision is made or they’re even shipped – so that Russia can prepare.
