  1. Probably fixtures from the track

r/whatisthisthing can probably help narrow it down if someone here can’t

  2. Someone will definitely know, though the quickest way to find out would have been to post the wrong answer!

My guess goes to clamps that hold the rails down somehow, or prevent joints separating – possibly from old maintenance. I think they may be past their best though!

My wrong guess would be skyhooks, left there for an apprentice to collect who was never able to find them!

  3. Looks like band and plate(minus the plate) scaffold fittings.

  4. Having looked at the picture for a while I think I can safely say they are two rusted bits of metal. Hope this helps

  5. Not sure what they are, but I certainly wouldn’t want to be whacked in the bollocks with one.

    Hope this helps

  6. Hi, these are called DH Couplers made by SGB (Scaffolding Great Britain). They would have been used to secure scaffolding to said bridge prior to the invention of a improved Girder Clamps.

I shall try to upload a decent image(s).

Edit: Link to the DH in use.
