  1. The courage it takes to even be doing this after the world kitchen workers were killed. 

     Either this was malicious, which is clearly a problem, or it was an accident, which is also a problem. If the IDF can’t distinguish between clear non combatants and combatants then the military action must end. 

    But I fear this was intentional. Which is even worse.

  2. WFP vehicles also stand out and look shiny and white with logos plastered everywhere. Don’t get me wrong, it’s completely unacceptable this happened and WFP support is important.

    But WFP visits were always a security nightmare when I worked in conflict zones. Their vehicles stand out as moving targets, which they even recognize is problematic for anyone in their vicinity without their security. They only visited every few years max for that reason. And usually stay inside their compound then contract out to local NGOs for actual field work.
