[OC] Shots on target conceded by the best defenses in Europe

I dunno what yellow is and I’m too scared to ask…
While I appreciate you making this statistic, I have to say: this data is meaningless.
It’s recorded over just two matches rather than a full season, so all teams have had different opponents.
The leagues differ in quality a lot. Fortuna Sittard is at top and has managed to kept two clean sheets despite 8 shots on target, which is commendable. However, they’ve faced Almere City and Go Ahead Eagles, who wouldn’t even make into the Bundesliga or Premier League.
Finally, if you’re going to do a statistic like this at least account for the quality of shots. There’s many graphs showing a difference in goals and xG. xG is a much better measure of shot quality, because it uses many more variables such as the type of shot (header vs shot) and distance to goal.
I would have flipped the plot and put the least conceded teams at the top.
Only conceding 2 shots on target in two games is more impressive than conceding 8.
Over what timescale? its meaningless without it 🙁
Anyone looking at this have to figure out the sport for themselves. Please understand that your favourite sport might not be everyone’s.
