  1. Hope the Ukrainians keep on bombing more Russian installations within Russia itself.

  2. Nice , enjoy them .
    Glad we decided this .
Maybe we can give the new JFS also since I don’t see better need for us to keep them ourselves .
Finally it became a good investment after all those yea.

Ukraine may deploy weapons supplied by the Netherlands on Russian territory. This is what Defense Minister Brekelmans responded this morning to questions about statements made by Commander of the Armed Forces Eichelsheim. He told the NOS that Ukraine may also use Dutch F-16s in Russia, provided that the Ukrainians comply with the military laws of war.

Brekelmans agrees with this and points out that the Netherlands has also made this clear before: “The laws of war say that if Ukraine is attacked from Russia, Ukraine may also attack military targets. For the F-16s, this would mean that if, for example, a missile is fired from Russia, you can also intercept it above Russia with an F-16.”

    ‘Airports are also legitimate targets’

The minister says that airports from which Russian fighter jets take off and from which bombs are fired are also legitimate targets under the laws of war. Brekelmans emphasizes that the attacks must not be aimed at civilian targets: “Ukraine is clearly not allowed to do that. Those are the conditions we have set.”

Brekelmans acknowledges that there is discussion with other allies about “what space you would like to give Ukraine”. He says that Russia is carrying out attacks from increasingly greater distances and that these attacks with air-guided bombs are becoming increasingly intensive. “You have to keep discussing what Ukraine needs to defend itself.”

  4. We got Ukraine back we dutch gava for ur small army a lot let’s get those bloody orcs.

  5. It should be implicit with the transfer of the weapons, Ukrainian troops Ukrainian soil, Ukrainian decision, the west all benefits from Ruzzias defeat

  6. The simple work around is: NATO countries should just give the Dutch a huge supply of long range missiles,  then the Dutch give them to Ukraine and say “do whatever you want”.

  7. I mean war is complicated enough. Imagine having to coordinate which weapon systems can be used where or how far just makes it more so.

  8. I think this is a bit odd, as I believe he already said this in a Dutch quality news show on the day of the NATO anniversary. I guess that was off the record.

  9. Well, I hope they never touch russian soil, but looking forward to f16 incursions into russian airspace.
