  1. And now Kroger wants to merge with Albertsons (another massive supermarket chain) so they can gouge even more people on a larger scale!

  2. And everyone freaked out when Harris said we should look at the prices that grocery stores are charging

  3. Believe Biden TRIED to pass legislation regarding CORPORATE GREED but GOP Congress (& couple Dems) voted it down !!!

  4. I mean what’s stopping a company from artificially inflating their prices before an election with the hopes of making an incumbent they dont want reelected look bad in the hopes of getting the other candidate who might give them a tax break elected?

  5. Gouged prices PLUS underpayed and overworked their employees. I was up in Indy in 2023 and they were advertising paying *up to* $13 an hour. Meaning an under-living-wage was the maximum you could hope for. The store had maybe 10 employees for the whole damn place. It was sad as hell to shop there.

  6. “They’d be too afraid to gauge with me as a president.” – Drumpf, probably

  7. Why the hat? Corporate state does not care which side is in power. The slide towards an oligarchy has been presided over by both republicans and democrats

While republicans might be bigger offenders, democrats under Clinton started taking it in the pocket from the corpos big time

  8. Where’s the question? If you are MAGA everything is Biden’s fault. Busiest man on the planet. Controls every inch of our border, sets gas prices, grocery prices, insurance rates, and still has time to prey on children for funsies. Oh and he is also an old man with full blown dementia who goes to bed at 6pm and doesn’t even know where he is.

He is quite an enigma that Biden.

  9. This is nothing new.

Oil companies raise gas prices and always blame the increased rise of crude oil.

But funny, every time the oil companies raised their prices, they then report record profits as well. Not sure what world they’re living in, but if your margins are increasing, that’s because your prices are rising faster than your cost of goods.

  10. * on specifically milk and eggs during some window of time. While overall gross profit increased by roughly one penny per dollar in sales. But don’t let data get in the way of your meme, I guess.
