  1. ”Strasbourg will recruit Deivid Washington (Chelsea)

INFO L’ÉQUIPE. The Alsatian club will finalize the arrival of the Blues’ Brazilian striker Deivid Washington, for whom it would break its spending record, with a transfer estimated at just over 21 M”

Safe to say the fans are not happy their BlueCo owners have made this signing…

  2. Maybe one day these clubs owned by the same group will merge into a single entity. Ah the sweet post-football-apocalyptic fixtures of XYZ Capital vs ABC Ventures. You wouldn’t know where the business line ends and the football line begins.

  3. At this point it must be more than Chelsea selling players.
It’s a deliberate scheme to get more than just cash.

Stocks in clubs? Obligations to get eventual star players cheaper in the future? Owners of clubs using football to make corporate deals with other interest than the sport itself?

  4. so what are the implications of this exactly? did the owners buy another club for a “get out of jail for free”- card whenever we change our mind about a young player we bought? how were things like that handled in the past regarding two clubs of the same owner?

  5. Game is truly fucking gone. This is a record buy for them and he did get almost zero play time at BlueCos main team. His value somehow did even increase

  6. I feel really bad for the Strasbourg fans. Chelsea owners are acting like they’re not even a real club with real fans.

  7. Rank.

I feel so bad for Strasbourg. Governing bodies need to step in with multi-club ownership because clearly there’s no ethics with owners.

  8. I’d love to know how Chelsea plan to justify this to whoever deals with related party transfers – especially given they are making a profit here

  9. Leipzig and Salzburg do this all the time. Now Chelsea do it, and y’all dicks are hard. Get your clubs to do same too.

  10. not sure how it works, but let say. if you sign someone for 20m paid over a 4 year contract and sell them 1 year later for 20m you make a loss or profit?

or if its completely wrong can someone explain what money Chelsea are making or losing on this deal?

if sancho is worth 40m now after a 2-3 years of playing and being on loan surely this kid should be like 10-13m even less considering hes played about 25 minutes.

    reeks of unfair market value
