I live in Chicago and a friend of mine, a judge, took off work early yesterday because there were no police officers available to testify against defendants, as they had all been pulled out of neighborhoods – in my friend's case, a high-crime area on the South Side – to protect Democratic Party elites. Last night 1,000 police officers were withdrawn from the streets of America's shooting capital to arrest protesters at the Israeli consulate.
