  1. Sadly, this is the correct choice if he has to make it. The security of 10 million Israelis>>>100 remaining hostages. Cold logic and bad PR, but leaders have to make tough choices. If Israel withdraws from Gaza completely with Hamas still in power, they will go straight back to attacking Israeli civilians.

  2. Many Zionists don’t understand how problematic the Philadelphi Corridor issue is and how ridiculous Netanyahu’s stance is.

The issue isn’t Hamas. Yes, the Philadelphi Corridor issue is causing negotiations to go to a standstill and prolong the war. That’s not good. The real problem is that Israel SIGNED A PEACE TREATY WITH EGYPT that ended DECADES of conflict in exchange for Israel the Philadelphi Corridor and Sinai being demilitarized zones. Egypt was the first Arab nation to recognize Israel due to this treaty. This ended one of the biggest conflicts in the Middle East.

The equivalent would be South Korea taking military control of the DMZ

  3. I’m not convinced rescuing hostages was ever a priority for the Israeli government. The sad fact is that many of the Israelis captured by Hamas were politically opposed to the current Israeli government. And the Israeli government did not hesitate to capitalize on the abduction of their political opponents to commit gen*cide in Gaza.

  4. I can’t believe people constantly blame Israel for the hostage situation and not the terrorists who took all the civilian hostages in the first place.
