  1. U.S. defense contractors are rapidly ramping up production of their products to help Ukraine. The U.S. Army has signed a $1.3 billion contract for the production of Javelin missiles and related equipment and services. This is the largest single-year contract for Javelin production to date. Ukraine will receive four thousand of these missiles.

It is also reported that the production of 155 mm shells will be increased. They will be produced at a plant in Pennsylvania. In order to meet Ukraine’s needs for artillery shells, the gunsmiths increased their capacity by 50%. And now the plant is producing 36,000 shells a month instead of 24,000.

The U.S. government has invested more than $400 million in the plant. The money was used to modernize production and increase the number of jobs. The Americans have consistently supported Ukraine’s desire to defend its independence in the war against Russia.

  2. When you look at the world we need to be able to up our weapons production anyway, Ukraine is the start of either rising need or higher sales…..

  3. USA, The ARSENAL TO THE FREE WORLD! Our politics are messy at times, but trust me. Not Russia, not Iran, not China, or any of the other pretenders want to start a fight. WE don’t want a fight. BUT. if you want to thrown down, bring it on!

  4. good. UKR could never have too many Javelins.

(can someone tell me if the J has greater range than the Stugna?. maybe better or worse in operational utility?)

  5. ow yeah monies, american jobs, investmentssssss!!!

the holy grail of US validness! “do we profit?”

    i really don’t care.

is it the moral thing to do, send aid and support? yeah!

so i rather focus on that, to retain a positive image of our, in idiocy dissolved, nato ally.

  6. Have they made a better version of the javelin yet?
We’ve seen over the last 2 years, these things have been constantly destroyed by russian tanks. Thousands of russian tanks have successfully destroyed javelins from what I’ve seen.

  7. Its why the support for Ukraine is trickling in so slowly and they’re not allowed to use western weapons. The sooner this war is over, the less these arms manufacturers can earn from it; only cost is Ukrainian lives.

  8. I worked in this plant couple years ago. Its literally a shit show there. The entire plant is covered in black soot that very rarely gets cleaned. Also you make very little money for the work you do. People complain about amazon when that job is a joke. This plant is 120F+ and pay people $10/hr and you have to lift over 100lbs of shells over, over, and over. People cry and complain about having to lift 25lbs boxes at amazon when they get paid almost double from amazon and do literally half the work. This plant is trash and nobody should be happy about it. Its more propaganda instead of truth.

At the end of the day your entire body is covered in soot including your face. You look like you work in the coal mines.

Its extremely toxic work for your health and you get paid nothing. Literally get paid more to work at McDonalds. Thats why we wont and cannot produce those many shells. 1st they arent making money. The US Taxpayers are paying for these shells, and they pay their employees nothing, and give them 0 health benefits. Your a private contractor when you work there. Meaning no Union to fight for you. They mainly work off hiring temps that are desperate because that area and town is a “recovery area” Meaning its where addicts go after REHAB because there are so many half way houses. Then temp agencies make deals with those houses and they work for next to nothing, because you have no other choice or you will be homeless living in Tent city in Wilkes-Barre PA.

The problem is they cant find workers because they pay shit, give no benefits and the conditions are the worst ive ever seen at any company I have worked for. Including US Lumber.

  10. If Governments don’t want to finance it- Defense contract companies will step in and get the work done. Ukraine has said several times- They’ll pay for, or pay back all loans, they just need the ammo/equipment. The west should have learned this after WW2…

  11. To all the wrong wing American assholes against spending on the defence of Ukraine in Russia’s unprovoked attack…. This is what that ACTUALLY looks like… Ukraine gets old missiles that the US would otherwise just destroy to ACTUALLY defend their country against an outside enemy, and US servicepeeps get brand spanking new missiles to use to defend against hypothetical attacks.

This is that money that congress authorized to be spent, being spent.

Paying American workers to make new munitions, that will go replace munitions donated from old stock.

Faux, Infowars, RSBN, etc would have you believe that it’s just container ships and cargo planes full of cash heading to Ukraine.

    It’s not.

    It’s this. It’s jobs.

Forget the value of the data…. Fuck… Every time a Patriot launches, the next shot gets more accurate.
