It was on Saturday mornings/early afternoon. It was basically a show that talked about upcoming movies, tv shows and future technology. Was just watching some episodes on YouTube for a hit of nostalgia.

Saturday morning TV was the best. Never been equalled.

One episode here taking about the Saga Saturn! https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=7-PfHF1I8_c&pp=ygUXbW92aWVzIGdhbWVzIGFuZCB2aWRlb3M%3D

  1. Wow yes I remember this. It was great. I think it was in around the same time as some chart show rundown as well.

  2. There’s something I haven’t thought about for a long time. They renamed it to Movies Movies Movies after a while too didn’t they?

  3. Wow that memory was stored away. Thanks OP! Am I right in thinking that sometimes it was on really late at night and you’d have to set VideoPlus to record it? Or was that another show?

  4. I would always watch it just for the games.

I would then later move on from watching that, to regularly watching Cybernet.

  5. Yes! Used to love this. It was one of the few things my Dad would watch with us. I was always excited for to see the games section the most.

  6. I used to love this! Such a blast from the past. I remember it being on after the Saturday morning TV had finished, just before Football Focus started on the other channel.

I just realised I spent my childhood watching TV

  7. Love the earnestness with which that one epsiode is covering consoles that ended up being shitty expensive failures – Philips CDi, Amiga CD32, and the 3DO. The Saturn was decent, thought it didn’t do great either.

The only one that actually suceeded was “Project Reality” which became the N64.

That episode is also a perfect example of what I remember of that show. I watched it because we were starved of videogame content on TV back then, but it barely tells you anything useful or interesting.

  8. Absolutely! Then occasionally down to Blockbuster to pick up something that’d been featured on it.

  9. Blast from the past. I did watch this show back in the day. I just had a look and some of these are on YouTube. Just bookmarked them to watch tomorrow at work.

  10. I instantly recognise that title but I cannot for the life of me access any more memory about it than that lol.
