Just in case anyone is wondering, like I was, how they could be so fast, I think these Paralympians are using racing wheelchairs. I originally thought they might be using blades, but it doesn’t look like those times are as fast as these.
O stop. Why is there so much comparison to regular Olympics in this sub? Just enjoy it and spread the info you want. Don’t complain about optics and popularity. Let’s be honest, para sports are a niche of a niche. No one watches handball or shooting outside of the Olympics. Why would they watch para handball or shooting? Giving up a month of your life to watch niche sports is already enough. Go support if you want, but stop pretending that paralympics deserve to be at the same level as NFL or NBA or something. Not everything has to be compared. Just enjoy what you enjoy.
