  1. German car manufacturers have seen a rise in sales in recent years, with the same seen or forcast for 2024. The problem ain’t sales but costs. All of German industry is ailing after the NS2 kablooie, with plants moving to Eastern Europe where gas is cheaper or to the US, which cares for European industry like Commander Riker cares for Chief O’brien’s wife.

Why do European elites not make the course corrections that would ease pressure on their economies?

  2. That’s because they’ve dropped what they’ve been known for, quality instead of flash. How it all show and no substance. Mercedes, BMW and VW are not the car companies they used to be.
