Russia’s forces have claimed to have seized a village in eastern Ukraine’s Donetsk region, called Kalynove. The advance comes days after Russian President Vladimir Putin named his “primary objective” in the conflict as capturing Donbas — an area comprising the Donetsk and Lugansk regions.
