And your picture, Northampton Lift Tower? (With a side of Franklins Gardens)
Is that the tower of Orthanc? Do you live in Isengard?
Do you live in a J. G. Ballard novel?

The Northampton Light House, it’s been keeping local shipping off the rocks for decades.
Moved out of from here to live in London years ago… home is seeing the Christmas tree all lit up on top when pulling into the train station during the winter months, memories!
Years ago it was the old Give Peas A Chance bridge.
Are you in the railway carpark just up from the super sausage?
oh when the saints…
Northampton Lift Tower, plus Franklins Gardens next door.
Also home to the UK’s stabbiest McDonalds on the Drapery!
Wisely done, Mr. Freeman
Northampton ? Used to live just off the racecourse a few streets away from Alan Moore about 25 years ago
Sainsbury’s roof. If you know, you know.
Northampton
Express lifts tower Northampton
I was next door to the old lift tower today, not by choice, but because my wife was driving and headed to HobbyCraft. When in reality we needed to be at the old Toys R Us shop thats now a new Home Bargains, just across from Carlsbergs brewery of shite
Tinsley viaduct towers. Crossing the viaduct and seeing both towers was a known fact if he home in 20 minutes
Emley Moor Mast and Castle Hill
Good to see some Northampton mentioned here
Winter Hill near Wigan and Bolton.
Croeso i Gymru sign.
We’re lucky enough to have the Angel of the North as our nearly-home landmark. Once we’re up to it, we’re normally 10 minutes out.
At the moment we’re lucky enough to be able to approach it for 10 minutes, then gradually crawl past it for the next half hour courtesy of the roadworks on the A1.
I don’t live there any more but when I go back to visit I know I’m close when I see Emley Moor mast.
Northants represent
Forton Motorway services, Lancaster. It’s not exactly round the corner from where I live but it’s close enough that I know I’m nearly there.
The big VUE cinema that I can see from my flat. I always wanted a room with a view.
