Ooh, Warren Street. Assuming we’re playing the Archbishop of Canterbury rules, subsection 3.
If we’re doing double backs – Bank
Are obsolete stations disallowed? Because I’m thinking Aldersgate.
Everytime I see Mornington Crescent I immediately think of that radio show I can’t remember the name of right now.
I may be mistaken, but I don’t recall you declaring a Jubilee, but forgive me if I’ve been dim – so you simply cannot go Aldersgate prior to Autumn timetable
I’m going to be bold and open with Archway
And immediately we have the chaos of multiple competing moves at once. It’s as if you’ve all never heard of Trumpington’s shunting lemma. To get this all back on track, I’ll assume we’re using a Garbutt variation for online play, passing to the *left* to determine turn order (because it’s Sunday, and the Waterloo and City line is closed), and make my initial move: I’ll pick up three amber tokens, using a reversing manoeuvre that takes us out to **Bayswater**
It’s been a while since I’ve played this, so I can’t remember – Is the Essex rule still in place for Sundays? If not, then Theydon Bois.
Oh good for you.
Before we begin, I see we’ve had a letter of complaint and it comes from a Mrs Trellis of North Wales
She writes: Dear Mrs Delia Smith, Can I ask the reason for you promoting Weetabix so much in your recipes? Why, why, why, Delia?
Yours etc, Mrs Trellis.
Can someone please explain what this game is? I want to partake in the fun 🥲
What’s the game?
HHGTTG! Oh sorry, that’s another favourite of mine 😄
Is it Queen Elizabeth line rules today? Going for Shenfield in that case, unless anyone here has recently registered for platinum level pet insurance for their dog (in which case I might need to go for Abbey Wood).
I miss Humph (and Samantha)
Oysters are still in season, so I’d play it safe with King’s Cross.
For my opening move, I pick, uhhh. Wait a moment, surely not.
I play Mornington Crescent.
I’m pretty sure this puts you in Nid unless your previous move was a diverse lateral or a counter-clockwise gyratory.
I hate this station
Love this – it’s been a while. Is this still a thing in the UK?
Dear Humph,
I miss you.
Look, I’m a bit new at this – can I play St Johns Wood?
Why not! I’ll go rogue early doors with Walthamstow Central, although I’m not sure when the seasons switch so if we’re in autumn already then, it’s your friend and mine, Covent Garden
