Who takes the UK seriously these days? It still thinks it's relevant.
It took them 2 years to do that. India is helping russia evade sanctions
The UK was always specialized of illegally preventing other countries from tradeing with each other, by dominating the sea routes themselves. They even resorted to secretly employing pirates to plunder, kill and terrorize cometitor's sea trade.
Sanctions such like this are not legal punishment/retribution to just a few uninvolved traders, but a deterring threat to other companies from doing such trades.
