I see no problem with this. The English that the entire world recognises, and the English that the Americans use.
I’m sorry, I thought this was America, and we speak ‘merican!
As I see it, they’re acknowledging that US English is *not* the international standard
English Simplified and English Traditional
Okay, I’d just click on it and crack on with my day..
Actual English
The UK doesn’t speak English properly anyway.
Think of it as a cultural victory over the barbarians.
Why? This just means our English is the overlord. US English is nothing but a pesky imitator
Replace International with either “Proper” or “Original “
Shouldn’t it be just English and bad English?
Fair, but at my daughter’s primary school we had to select her race and the options were “white-British” and “white-other” 😂 We’re white Americans, so I supposed we were other.
On another note, I recently told someone at my gym (that I’ve gone to for a year) I was catching a plane to go on holiday after the workout. They replied, “Oh, are you going home?!” To which I thought, “but this IS my home.” Aloud I said, “No.”

Also English (Scotland) please
Be glad that international means that it’s for people who don’t struggle with things like a U being certain words.
I feel the pain, it happens the same with Spanish many times, people does not understand it, it is same as English British, USA, AUS and all variants
At least they didn’t include Estuary English.
Propa English!
English bastardised.
England spoke proper.
I hate whenever I see English represented by the American flag. Rude.
An American corrected me when I wrote lorry with *truck, talk about taking the piss…
I see Canadian French, why no option for Canadian English eh
*So you’ve decided to download Windows*
Should be listed as ‘American’ and ‘English’ now.
It’s the one that everyone understands internationally (and is taught); and then the other version.
I just had duolingo teach me the word english (in dutch) with a bastardisation of the US flag to denote it. Fuming
American spelling doesn’t care that much about “U”
