Ed Wood #1 from a critic’s perspective, but definitely not in the public consciousness. I’d say that’s:
1) Beetlejuice 2) Corpse Bride 3) Batman 4) Edward Scissorhands 5) Batman Returns/Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure
I put Corpse Bride at number 2 because it gets a ton of play every Halloween and all generations know and like it. My kids don’t give a damn about the 1989 Batman even though it was one of the biggest movie events of my life. Plus, the Nolan Batman movies really supplanted it as the go-to Batman franchise.
