How crucial are long-range missiles in the Ukraine war? | Inside Story

The war in Ukraine is at a critical juncture.
Western allies are considering a shift in their support and may allow Ukraine to use long-range missiles against targets deep inside Russian territory.
Ukraine has been pleading for the go-ahead for months, but there’s no indication when or if US President Joe Biden will grant the request.
The Kremlin has warned such approval would mean NATO members were directly involved in the conflict.
Will Western nations cross President Vladimir Putin’s red line? And if they do, how will Russia respond?

  9. Fresh Boeing crisis as 30,000 workers prepare to strike

Boeing is facing a fresh crisis as 30,000 workers prepare to walk out after unanimously rejecting a 25 per cent pay rise. The strike at Boeing's West Coast factory will halt production of the planemaker's strongest-selling jet as it wrestles with chronic output delays and mounting debt. It comes after a series of shocking incidents involving the company's planes which have caused widespread uncertainty among the general public.

  10. The west is like a bully. IF you give them an inch, they will take a mile. Russia was wrong to agree to the end of the Warsaw pact. That was their original mistake. The west told them no more expansion of NATO. They reneged on that promise. So if NATO strikes Russia and Russia refuse to response appropriately. NATO will escalate further.
